Day 1
Everyone's a first mate today as we trim our sails and set course for the island of Mljet. Your responsibilities include swimming, improving the tan and counting shades of blue. Also: a National Park with a natural waterslide when the tide is right.
Day 2
In the spirit of adventure, explore Korcula's cobblestone alleys, take a spin through Marco Polo's house and then climb your way to the top of an old-school cathedral tower to savour a colourful cocktail. Take note: the ladder to the top of Massimo's cocktail bar is seriously steep, so watch your head!
Day 3
Onwards to Vela Luka, a wide bay surrounded by coves that are covered with vineyards, olive trees, fig trees and pine. Tonight, keep your ears tuned for Klapa- an a capella style of singing that we may hear echoing from the town's restaurants. UNESCO says that a few Croatian friends singing about their love of wine is of significant cultural importance (so it'd be rude not to join in, right?).
Day 4
Sit, stay and roll over for the ultimate holiday glow - then set sail for Vis, a relatively untouched island on the Dalmatian coast. A visit to the Blue Caves will be just as epic as the name implies, so make sure your waterproof camera is well and truly charged.
Optional activities: Visit Fort George.
Day 5
This morning we head straight for Hvar, one of Croatia's glittering gems and playground to the likes of Tom Cruise, Ellen DeGeneres and Prince Harry (just to name a few). Sip a mist-mash in one of the oldest cities in Europe (it's an actual thing and involves red wine and Fanta - best not ask) and rub shoulders with the rich and famous as you stroll the white stone plaza.
Day 6
Off the mooring line and onto Stari Grad. A UNESCO listed town, Stari Grad is certainly pleasing on the eye. Tonight, we clink glasses and indulge in a feast fit for a sailor with an onboard dinner.
Day 7
Sail to Split for the ultimate vacay finale. Yes, it's a UNESCO World Heritage city, and yes it has an abundance of Roman architecture. Finish off your day behind the 1700-year-old walls of the Diocletian Palace. If it's good enough for an emperor, odds are you'll rate it too.
Day 8
Once you've finished sending off your fellow shipmates, talk to us about another eight days sailing the Croatian islands.
