Day 1
Johannesburg to Greater Kruger
Following your arrival in the renowned city of gold (Johannesburg), your epic journey starts with a scenic drive across the Mpumalanga province, before heading to the Panorama Route where we peer through God's Window. Seriously. Have your camera ready. We make our way to Hazyview bordering Kruger, and enjoy our first night under the African stars. Campfire stories, optional.

Day 2
Great Kruger to Kruger National Park
Waking at sunrise, we eagerly await entry to the park gates to begin our exploration of wild Kruger. Expect an intense yet rewarding day of game tracking with our eagle-eyed guide at the wheel - this is the most esteemed park in the world, after all. Escaping the hot afternoon sun, we'll enjoy the facilities (and peacefulness) the rest area should offer. Think: restaurants, souvenir stores and swimming pools. #Score. Early evening, we'll enjoy a delicious feast gathered around the crackling fire, and for the wildlife lovers, there's the option of heading out on a night safari game drive.

Day 3
Kruger National Park
After a light sunrise breakfast, we re-enter the park in an open 4x4 safari vehicle for our second day's game driving. With cameras and binoculars at the ready, we'll spend the day winding along beaten tracks and marked routes, keeping our eyes peeled for the Big Five (elephant, rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo!). This afternoon, it's back to the camp for story-swapping and chill time.

Day 4
Kruger National Park to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
Travelling south along the edge of Kruger National Park, we'll cross the Crocodile River and into the Kingdom of Swaziland. The windy road carries us over lush, green mountain passes through this landlocked kingdom snuggled between Mozambique and South Africa. Passing many craft markets, we make an educational visit to the famous Ngwenya glass factory, and skirt the capital Mbabane, before arriving at Milwane Wildlife Sanctuary - our base for the next two nights. Milwane Wildlife Sanctuary is Swaziland's oldest protected area located in the stunning Ezulwini Valley, 'Valley of Heavens'.

Day 5
Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
Waking to the sounds of grunting antelope and wild exotic birds, we'll enjoy breakfast soaking up the natural beauty of our surrounds. A short drive through the sanctuary brings us to the Royal Enclosure where a local Swazi guide will walk us through a traditional village explaining the many colorful customs and rituals. After browsing StreetSide markets and trying our hand bartering with crafters, we'll find our way back to the sanctuary for lunch. Feeling active? Try your hand at the many optional activities offered in the sanctuary including horse riding, game drives, mountain bike riding and guided walks - or simply take time out to catch some rays by the pool. Top off the day by sipping sundowners while our crew prepares a delicious dinner. #ThemHolidayFeels.

Day 6
Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary to St Lucia
Leaving this amazing sanctuary behind us, we visit a unique Swazi candle factory before crossing the border and re-entering South Africa via the KwaZulu-Natal province. Today, we roll into the small coastal town of St Lucia, set amongst the wild beaches and a tropical estuary, where we embark on a late afternoon river cruise. Spy the pods of hippos, lazy crocodiles, and numerous bird species on the sandy banks, or cooling down in the water in the late afternoon sun. After dinner, stroll into town and cozy up in one of the local cafes.

Day 7
St Lucia to Hluhluwe Game Reserve to Durban
Rising early, we'll enjoy a light breakfast before driving the short distance to Hluhluwe Game Reserve - KwaZulu-Natal's premier park hosting the famous Big Five and loads of other wildlife species. Spend the morning on a game drive through one of South Africa's oldest and well-run reserves, and then make tracks through pine forests and sugar cane fields to Durban, where our trip sadly ends.
